Dick Calafato - Broker/Owner:
Since entering the real estate industry in 1969, Dick Calafato has proven himself to be a trailblazer. Always one step ahead of the pack, Dick has acquired an immeasurable wealth of real estate experience, and is more than willing to share his knowledge and enthusiasm for the industry with anyone willing to listen.
Working first as a dynamic salesperson, Dick listed 223 homes and closed over 14 million dollars in sales during his first 2 years in the business. In 1972, just one year later, he founded Allstate Realtors, growing the organization to 165 offices and over 3,200 sales associates in 7 western states in just a few years. Before the end of the decade, Dick had become the first broker in the nation to offer his company's clients a full-service program, personally founding an escrow company, a title insurance company, and a mortgage company.
As his success and renown increased, Dick was sought after to lecture nationally on the real estate circuit, teaching with industry leaders such as Tom Hopkins, Gail Himmah, and Jim Rohn. His published works include "I Would If I Only Had The Time", "Closing The Sale", "How To Negotiate In Listing & Selling Homes", and "For Sale By Owner Idea Workshop".
Dick's unrivaled approach to listing & selling has helped thousands of salespeople reach definitive success, and his vast knowledge has proven invaluable to Brokers/Owners interested in developing programs designed to increase company profitability & growth and prospective mergers & acquisitions. Jim began his real estate career in 1989 during his first five years in the business he was a Top Producer with another large franchise, he has excelled as a salesperson and achieved Top Listing agent, and Top Sales Agent both locally and regionally. In 1993 his last active year as a sales person before becoming a broker, Jim sold 9 million dollars worth of real estate in Douglas County and was ranked in the top 1% of Realtors in the nation. He specializes in complete office management, agent recruiting, marketing, business planning, and client service development.
